We at Speechcare Center are excited to recount our remarkable experience at the Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai, the largest health event in the Middle East, which took place from January 29th to February 1st. This event, a key date in our annual calendar, offers a wealth of opportunities for networking, discovering new technologies, and exploring innovative healthcare approaches.
This year’s event was particularly noteworthy for us. We had the privilege of joining a distinguished group of Portuguese companies and clusters, all thanks to the gracious invitation extended by AICEP Abu Dhabi and the Embassy of Portugal in Abu Dhabi. Our heartfelt thanks go to Manuel Couto Miranda and Nuno Cardinho from AICEP Abu Dhabi and Beatriz Dias from AICEP Portugal Global, and Fernando Figueirinhas, the Portuguese Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, for their impeccable organization and hospitality, which greatly enriched our experience.
Special thanks are also due to Pedro Rodrigues and Joana Almeida from the Portuguese Business Council, and Paulo Vaz from Associação Empresarial de Portugal, for their support and collaboration in this international venture.
The forum provided us with the pleasure of meeting and interacting with exceptional professionals from various organizations. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Joana Feijó (Business Development Director, Health Cluster Portugal), Sérgio Paulo (CEO and co-founder at Evollu), António Cunha (Executive Director at Instituto Pedro Nunes), Alice Paulo (Data Analyst and AI developer at Lean Health Portugal), Rui Cortes (Healthcare Improvement Expert at Lean Health Portugal), and Nélia Pereira (Founder MedSquare) for these intense, fruitful, and engaging days.
The event’s agenda was filled with strategic meetings and visits with key players in the health sector and applied health technologies, including Mubadala Health / M42 Health, Hub71, Ministry of Health and Prevention – UAE, Department of Health Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Health Authority, and Dubai Healthcare City. A visit to the Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai was another highlight.
Elsa Marta Soares, our Speech and Language Therapist and Coordinator at the Speechcare Center in Abu Dhabi, represented us on this international stage. Her participation and insights were crucial in establishing meaningful connections and fostering dialogues.
